Christina and I have been friends for over 10 years; pretty impressive as we're only in our mid 20's, so when I found out she was engaged I was so excited for her and Luke.

Engagement is such a mile stone in a couples lives together, it shows a huge commitment to one another and is the start of something huge. I know that for some marriage isn't important; it's a piece of paper right? Does it even change anything? Maybe, maybe not. But if it matters to you, then it's life changing and I want to celebrate and capture the love that comes from that commitment.
I was the one to reach out to Christina. As you may know I'm working to build up my portfolio and in general build up my confidence! Even on the day; as Christina drove us out to this lovely location; I sat in the back of the car hardly talking because I felt like I still was not worthy of this, to capture this moment, to give them photos they would love forever. I told them, and both Christina and Luke were amazing and so supportive, they reassured me that I could do this and that there was no pressure for these photos to be perfect and I am so appreciative for those words.
Christina and I went on the night before, got a little too drunk and were, thus, very hungover. We were both running on little sleep and no food and hungover heads and a setting sun, but we made it out there and just enjoyed ourselves. Poor Luke had to put up with slightly moody women, but he did amazingly.
First stop;
A little look out over the beautiful Surrey Countryside! The weather was chilling but these two brought a warmth to my heart that was just lovely. We dodge around dog walkers, family photoshoots and tourists; a stunning place that I will force Christina to take me back to next time I visit her!
Second stop;
These images were taken at Sheer; a stunning little village just outside Woking, Surrey. This was the village that the film The Holiday was film and it was bustling with tourists. It was quant with little shops and streets, but also riddled with cars! We spoke about how much more peaceful it would feel without all the 21st century transportation cloaking the streets.
I am so happy for this lovely couple and so pleased I got to capture their love!
Here is a cute photo Luke took of me and Christina! Taking photos for your best friend is so amazing! Thank you Christina and Luke and I look forward to the wedding!
